First Play

We received the opportunity to take Landon to the Tempe children’s theater.  We took him out to dinner and arrived very early at the theater.  Landon was able to watch the clerk print the tickets for the show.   His first show was “A Year with Frog and Toad.”  It was very funny and he really enjoyed himself.  He laughed when it was appropriate and clapped after the singing.  He had a big smile on his face during the whole performance.  Not long into the second Act he was tired and asked to go home.  It was his first time but won’t be his last.  It really was a magical night. Flying to Kentucky

Landon was fired up and ready to go with a suitcase of his own this year.  He was such a great little traveler and told everyone who gave him compliments all about where they can buy their own BB8 suitcase.  It sure makes it easier when they start to carry their own load…for exactly 5 minutes. 😉  Read More

Arizona Christmas

We hosted a relaxing Christmas Eve.  Started the morning of right with a tasty Nutella breakfast.  Later, we cooked a casual Mexican dinner for the family. Hunter and Landon enjoyed their own special table this year.  Santa even stopped by to pay the boys a special visit. Landon’s run to greet Santa at the door is simply too cute for words. We had an equally relaxing Christmas day. After church we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house for another delicious meal and dessert. Trick or Treat

By | Blog | 2 Comments

Here are the pics from Landon’s first trick or treat.  He attended his first Halloween party at school and participated in a costume parade. Halloween morning he spent with Grandma and Grandpa and made festive cupcakes.  We trick or treated in our neighborhood in the evening and it was so much fun. Landon walked up to all the houses, even the spooky ones, and happily collected his candy.

Schnepf’s Farm

Landon took his third annual trip to the pumpkin farm.  We visited a local farm this year to kick off our celebration of fall. We were happy to have Aunt Angela and cousin Hunter join us for the fall fun.  This gem is located in Queen Creek and celebrates every fall with a pumpkin and chili fest.  This was the first time Landon was old enough to ride on the carnival rides. He had to ride each twice and had the biggest smile on his face.  We loved seeing Hunter converse with the pumpkins in the patch and occasionally fall down and roll like a little pumpkin.  We took a train ride through the orchards, jumped a giant trampoline, and rode pedal tractors.  We couldn’t have asked for a better time and we were so happy to see the cousins enjoy each other as well. Happy Fall everyone!

Pool Time

We lived in the pool this summer. Most weekends we were in the pool by 7 am.  At that time of day it was like a private pool.  Landon is not yet able to swim above water but he began swimming underwater this summer and holds his breathe very well. More recently he began jumping from the side of the pool and is able to push himself off the bottom back up to the surface.

Landon recently visited the doctor and he’s growing by leaps and bounds. He is now 38 1/2 inches tall and 33 pounds.  We are so proud of the smart, kind, and handsome little man he is.  It’s a bittersweet farewell to Summer!

We finally had time to post some photos from Easter brunch.  We love the quaint, order at the counter, type of places.  Since toddlers can’t wait the casual atmosphere made it an enjoyable experience for all.  To make it extra special Landon enjoyed a special treat.
