First Zipline

Zip lining through the woods was added to the farm festival this year. A dream come true for a little guy who watches his favorite heroes zip line on TV. This zip line however was perfectly safe and designed for the smallest of adventurers. 😆

Schnepf’s Pumpkin Festival

By | Blog | 2 Comments

Since it is still so warm in October (mid 90s during the day) we decided Landon was old enough this year to attend Schnepf Farm’s Annual Pumpkin and Chili party at night. We were lucky enough to witness the rising of the gorgeous harvest moon and Landon had the opportunity to try something he’s always wanted to do. Stay tuned for the video clip. 😉

Schnepf Farm

It was still too hot to visit the pumpkin patch but luckily this farm is so close we can visit anytime. We were happy to indulge in the delicious breakfast and play a few rounds of an old fashion western game. Our niece picked up some Ghost Pepper salsa (for our soon-to-be nephew) and Landon just devoured a cow cupcake. 😆

Hiking with Morgan

Landon, Morgan and Shawn hiked Goldmine Trail in search of Superman’s infamous kryptonite. Landon lead the way…right to “Kryptonite Cave” where they hit the jackpot of kryptonite rocks.  The other thing that makes these pictures so special is to see the oldest and youngest cousin spending quality time.  Landon just loved having a big cousin for the week!

OdySea Aquarium

We are so lucky to have the largest aquarium in the Southwest. This was a magical place for Landon. He has spent hours reading books about these special sea creatures but books can only take you so far. We were so happy to share our first visit with Mimi and Morgan.  We hope they enjoyed this special place as much as we did.

Sedona

With all the eating we were doing some planned excercise was needed. What better place to escape the heat and take in some fresh  air than the beautiful Red Rock Crossing in Sedona. The trip wasn’t complete without dipping our toes in the icey cold waters. The beauty of Sedona never disappoints no matter what you’ve planned for the day.  Thanks for taking the journey with us.  Read More

Back to school

I can’t believe his first day at district preschool is here! We couldn’t be more excited for him to be a little Spartan! This was our first time shopping for school supplies so it was a special  time for us. Mommy only had to wrestle a few people to get that 3 inch white binder everyone seemed to need this year. There was definitely  some aggressive cart bumping going on. 😆Despite all the craziness, we feel so proud of our little man. We know he’ll be a star in room 111 with Ms. Kristine.  We will keep you posted  on his many success that are sure to come this year.
